Condolences
I have so many great memories growing up when our family would visit Aunty Ann and Uncle Paul and the boys . Being the same age as Wes ,and playing hockey with David.. It was a blast every time we visited them .Your in God's hands now Wes with your mom and dad and my parents. . Love Gerry McGuire
Wes, You will be greatly missed as a friend and a colleague in the Cement industry. I enjoyed our many conversations these past few years and am saddened that we talked many times about getting together but Covid got in the way. You were a great friend with a good sense of humor and I will keep you in my thoughts as well as my prayers. I wish to pass on my sympathies to all of your family and want them to know that Wes was truly someone who made this world a better place as he touched many lives.

I worked with Wes in the Winnipeg office many years ago. A terrific guy to work with. Condolences to his family.

Our sincere sympathy is extended to Marianne and family on the passing of Wes. I was in the same office as Wes at Lafarge in Calgary. I have fond memories of Wes. He was pleasant and gentle (a Hallmark of his own making); had a toolkit full of technical expertise; exhibited his signature smile to all in his midst; was ready, willing and able to be a problem solver; a dedicated team-player; and sociable with an easy style. He personified being a gentleman. A great guy! We miss you Wes. Rest in peace dear friend.
During my career at Lafarge, mine and Wes' paths crossed many times. He reported to me for a short while, then he followed in my footsteps for a bit, then ventured on his own career path. Wes always had time to discuss how to make Lafarge products better or how to provide a better solution to the customer. The customers always enjoyed seeing Wes. His jovial laugh and smile was always refreshing. He was always willing to provide assistance. Wes will be missed. My condolences to his family. May Wes rest in peace.
