Obituary of Timothy (Tim) Joseph Mulkern

August 3, 1949 - Chatham, Ontario

March 4, 2022 - Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Tim Mulkern, beloved husband of Bev Mulkern (nee Wilton) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the age of 72 years.

Tim was born in Chatham, ON, on August 3, 1949. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario with Hons. in Computer Science and from McGill with an MBA. He was passionate about his chosen career as a Financial Planner at Investors Group.

Tim was a travel enthusiast and an avid sports fan (Go D-Backs!). He was also an avid reader and always up for a discussion about various topics.

Besides his loving wife Bev, Tim is survived by his daughter Miranda Mulkern (Robert "Bobby" Mitchell) of Calgary, AB and his son Jeff Mulkern (Michelle Leu), currently residing in Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by his sister Lynn Hipwell (William "Bill" Hipwell) of Corbyville, ON; brother-in-law Brian Wilton of Calgary, AB and his beloved dog Skittles; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A private Funeral Mass will be held for the family on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.

A public Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Limericks Irish Pub (7304 Macleod Trail, Calgary, AB). All are welcome to stop by to share a pint, tell a story and toast Tim.
