Obituary of Nestor Yurkiw

Nestor Yurkiw beloved husband of Elizabeth "Rose" Yurkiw (nee Monchakowsky) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the age of 79 years. 

Besides his loving wife, Nestor is survived by his two daughters, Liana Yurkiw and Jeannine Wagner (Yurkiw); four grandchildren, Ryan, Richard (Jessica), Kristen (Josh), and Nicholas; and two great-grandchildren, Rohan and Levi all of Calgary, AB. Nestor is also survived by his brother Dennis Yurkiw (Judy) of Calgary, AB, and sister Shirley Gordon (Terry) of St. Albert, AB. Nestor was predeceased by his parents John and Jessie Yurkiw.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
