Obituary of Anna Borosh

August 1, 1957 – Gomel, Belarus

March 13, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

In our hearts forever, Anna, passed away too soon on Sunday, March 13, 2022. A kind, patient, vibrant and compassionate soul, who leaves a legacy of love in abundance.

Emigrating from Belarus to Canada in 1980, drawing everyone to her charming personality and signature red hair, she was often found helping others. Her radiating smile and uplifting words of kindness warmed everyone’s hearts. Anna had many talents; a Royal Conservatory pianist, eloquent writer, philanthropist, singer, and above all - a devoted mother. 

She is dearly missed by her parents, Isak and Klara, sister Galina (Eugene), niece Irina (Matt, Isabella, Matteo, Milon), her three children, Natasha (Mario), Danny, Michelle (Andy); and grandchildren, Kya and Max. Although our hearts are broken, we have many memories to cherish, she was our shining light. 

Please join us to honour the life of an unforgettable woman at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, Hospitality Centre, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Anna’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
