Obituary of Jillian Christine Adamuik

Jillian Adamuik, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the age of 30 years, while surrounded by her loving and devoted family, who were fortunate enough to be able to be with her 24/7 for her last week.

Always as a free spirit and beautiful soul, Jill loved photography, art, and most of all she had a special place in her heart for all animals.

Jill will forever be loved and remembered by her fiancé, Alex Lalayannis, her parents, Lorna and Ken Adamuik, and her beloved brother and his wife, Eric and Hilary Adamuik. 

She will also be missed by her great-aunt Ollie Griffith of Calgary, her uncle Perry and aunt Lisa Adamuik of Calgary, aunt Anne and uncle Jim Astleford of Armstrong, BC, her uncle Chuck and aunt Heidi Huedepohl of Stony Plain, Alberta, uncle Ike (Bernie) and aunt Shirley Huedepohl of Vermilion, Alberta, aunt Linda and uncle Norman Bunker of Chetwynd, BC, aunt Dianne and uncle Graham Rychjohn of Preeceville, SK., Jerryl and Paul Anslow, Sechelt, BC, and Alex’s parents, Nick and Maria Lalayannis, Calgary, AB along with numerous cousins, friends and work mates. She also leaves behind her much loved cat, Albi.

Cremation was performed at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB). A private Memorial Service has taken place.

The family will be forever grateful to the amazing team at the Foothills Medical Centre, Special Services Unit 36 who took incredible care of Jillian and our family.
