Condolences
My sincere thoughts and prayers to all members of Jiles' family. I was his teacher at Chiniki College and I loved him! ....still do. Jiles had a kind and generous spirit with a wonderful sense of humour. He had many friends and classmates who cared about him, too.
May he rest in peace...we will miss him. Jill Richards
My condolences to the entire Young and Wesley families, I had the privilege to watch this young gentleman dance at many many powwows across turtle island. Tobacco given to Mother Earth for his journey to the camp and his family who await his arrival, You get the honour to dance with many of the legends, Journey well and Rest In Peace
My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of meeting this young man when I was stuck out in Morley. My Ena Phillis Ear and Gavin helped me out. I stayed at their house.. this was back in 2017. Jiles was friends with Toby who called me mom. So while I was stuck out there. Jiles and Toby showed me around the mountains. We also went fishing. Because Toby called me mom Jiles called me aunty mom lol.
I remember walking out of Enas cabin and looking towards the canoe. Jiles was sitting in the canoe. I asked what he was doing and he said... waiting for all of us to go fishing again.
Prayers and love to the family.
