Obituary of Beverley (Bev) Kellett (nee Bruneau)

June 11, 1936 - Melville, Saskatchewan

March 25, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and G.G., Bev Kellett of Calgary, AB, on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the age of 85 years.

Bev was predeceased by her husband Gordon K. Kellett and her grandson Patrick G. Soby. She is survived by her children, Christine Soby (Garth), Cindy Rude (Randy), Scott Kellett, and Bernadette Webb (John); grandchildren, Albert Caramignoli (Kat), Daniel Caramignoli, Christopher Soby, Emily Pokol (Julius), and Amy Webb (Ross); and great-grandchildren that will miss G.G.’s infectious smile, Eden, Charlee, and Julius.

Bev loved to travel. Whether by car, plane, or bus, she experienced and explored the world with several fond memories. She loved her grandchildren immensely. Through the years, she attended several sporting events and cheered each one of them on, and always welcomed a post-game, hug win or loss. Family was her priority, her love of camping and fishing allowed Bev to spend time with her family, and she was always up for a challenge if it meant an adventure awaited.

Bev was a charismatic woman; people gravitated toward her everywhere she went. She befriended many people through travel, work, and social activities. An openhearted person, Bev always made sure the family and friends she knew, if even briefly, were special to her, and each one of them held a special place in her heart.

There is nothing that will replace the tremendous loss of our mother, grandmother, and G.G. We will hold tight to the cherished memories she created which will ease the pain of her leaving us.
