Obituary of Siney Lau Sin Lin

January 20, 1954 – Hoi Ping, China

April 2, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

Siney Lin passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 2, 2022, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 68 years. Siney is survived by her loving husband Caesar Lin; children, Patrick, and Vincent Lin.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes (Chapel of The Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB) on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Lin’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. Siney was born on January 20, 1954, in Hoi Ping, China, she moved to Hong Kong when she was a little girl. Siney lived in Hong Kong until coming to Canada in 1971, when she was 17 years old. She was married to Caesar in 1974, in 1975 she gave birth to Patrick, and then to Vincent in 1986.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Dulcina Hospice care located in St. Marguerite Manor.
