Gregory Larochelle of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the age of 67 years.

Greg was born in Calgary, AB, on May 23, 1954.

Greg had a passion for golf and was an accomplished golf professional for many years, culminating as Class A Associate pro at Calgary’s Hamptons Golf Club.  Greg spent many hours playing and coaching family and friends; usually topped off with one or two cool ones. (Usually a Pil’ and always in a bottle.)

Greg’s (Boomer’s) most memorable times were spent with family or Sundays visiting his parent’s home. A few hands of crib with his mother, and then watching the golf with his dad, finished up with a home cooked meal and his mom’s famous butter tarts. (Being an only child, Greg’s attention and respect for his parents were always foremost.)

Greg is survived by his uncles, Bob Beggs of Calgary, AB and Stan Horner of Canmore, AB and aunt Violet Larochelle of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by his many cousins, Todd Larochelle, Dan Horner, Tim Beggs and Rochelle Beggs of Calgary, Michelle Beisel, Beverly Beisel of Edmonton, Steve Larochelle of Swift Current, SK, Rob Horner of Manitou Beach, SK, Tracie Guiffre of Sarasota, Fl, Wayne Larochelle of Phoenix, Arizona, Gary Beiswanger and Judy Davies of Calgary, AB. Greg was predeceased by his parents, Romeo and Muriel Larochelle.
