Obituary of Colin Lyle Rutherford

Colin Rutherford, beloved brother of Joan and Evelyn, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022 at the age of 53 years.

Colin was born in Smithers, BC on April 7, 1968. He grew up in Houston, BC and moved to Calgary, AB in 1989 where he made a life for himself and made many wonderful friends.

Besides his sisters, Joan and Evelyn (Brian) and their families, Colin leaves behind his beloved pets, Frankie, Donnie, and Oscar. His friend Sam has taken over their care.

We’d like to thank his friends, Monty and Jen for their extraordinary care and devotion, especially through this past year. We’d also like to thank the staff at Southwood Hospice in Calgary for their kindness and care of Colin while he was there.
