Obituary of Twyla Andrea McElheran

Twyla McElheran, beloved mother of Cassandra McElheran, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at the age of 57 years.

Twyla was born in Whitehorse, Yukon, on January 17, 1965. She was a wonderful mother who never gave up on me. She had so many loving friends, who just adored her sweet, loving soul.

She will be most remembered for her welcoming and warm smile, her love for playing scrabble, and her astounding vocabulary for crosswords.

Besides her loving daughter, Cassandra, Twyla is survived by her granddaughter, Chloee, and her two brothers, Kevin, and Morton.

We all know how avid of a book reader mom was, so we are asking that in lieu of flowers, you donate a few books to your local bookstore or library. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
