Condolences
Hello Yeats family, bonjour. I just found out about Rob's passing. Condolences on your loss. He was a valued member of the Sunshine Village Snow Host program. I am grateful I had the opportunity and the honor to befriend his war veteran father Jack. Sincerely, Carole Dastous.
Rob was a wonderful human being, full of compassion and humour. I greatly enjoyed our conversations on his volunteer shifts at WinSport, and when we ran into each other at the Performance Training Centre. He was one of the best volunteers I have ever worked with, always eager to put up his hand and always willing to share his experiences. I will miss Rob so much and I send my heartfelt sympathies to his family.
Kevin Stone Realtor and worked with Rob at the Calgary Stampede for a few years..It was fun and i had a great relationship with Rob and Glenda.... So sorry to have read about Robs passing... Way to young....
It is both shocking and disturbing that a man such as Rob, so full of life and love could be taken from us so soon and so fast.
We are so sorry to hear of Rob's passing. What a loss to all that knew him.
Rob will never again feel the sun upon his face, nor the arms of his grandchildren around him, not the peace and comfort of one's mate at his side, nor the exhilaration of barrelling down a black diamond run with friends in hot pursuit. Forever gone.
Our days working together at #20 were some of the best days I can remember.
Thanks for the memories. They just keep popping into my head, :o).
Rest easy. We will all be joining you some day Rob and sooner than we may know.
Rob will be missed he worked with us at Inter Facility Transfer for a lot years! I’m very glad that he lead a very full life in his retirement.
My heartfelt condolences to all his family.
Glenda and family, I was so sad to read of Rob’s passing. I have so many fond memories of Rob and the gang at Glenmore Pool back in the 70’s. I ran into him a few years ago at Canadian Blood Services and we shared a few laughs, I will never forget that great big smile. My sincere condolences. Linda Ramescu (Vane)
Sincere, warm, humorous and giving, Rob was all this and more. He mentored me into the fire dept. , nearly drown me in water polo, and showed me all the good runs at Sunshine. Wish we did more camping together, but I will always appreciate every moment I spent in his good company. Thanks for your friendship.
Deepest Condolences to Glenda and the whole Family on Rob's passing. The other families share your grief at this difficult time, too. I first crossed paths with this witty, fun guy in our SAIT days where I was a maintenance carpenter for twelve years. How similar the love of skiing and EMT led us to once again meet on the job - and D shift as well. You will be missed and remembered dearly by all you touched Rob. Ski in Peace, Brother.
I enjoyed working with Rob on the fire department. Sincere condolences to his family.
Dear Glenda and family,
It is with sadness I read of Robs passing.
Life will be difficult for awhile but with time the tears will become smiles as you remember a life well lived.

I have many fond memories of working with Rob. We started in the same class and we both ended up on D shift. We shared many good days together, at stations 1, 8 and 20 in particular. Rob was a great guy and I will miss him. My deepest condolences to the family.

Sincere condolences to the Yeats family from all of us here at Sunshine Village. The obituary sums it up, Rob was a family man and he also loved to ski and especially with any strays he could find. He truly enjoyed sharing his ski area with others; the SnowHost program was perfect for him. He really did make friends on every chairlift ride. I’m sorry to see him gone so soon and my heart goes out to you.
Condolences to Randy and family. Rob will surely be missed.
Rob often dropped off patients on Unit 92 FMC and of course we talked a lot about travel. He was always friendly and joking with his patients. When he retired I knew he had plans to travel a lot with his wife. Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Rob. We are all saddened to hesr of his passing. Angee Kelly RN
Rob was my preceptor when I joined IFT in 2013. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to introduce me to this industry. Rob showed me not to take work so seriously and to live a little bit and let go of stuff that I didn’t have control of or I would drive myself crazy. Rob was a great partner, a great colleague, and an amazing friend. You will be missed Yeats! Very much!

Our sincere condolences to Glenda, Randy, and the Yeats Families on the passing of "Brother" Rob. He was another of the good ones.
Condolences to Rob's family, friends and all those grieving his loss. I always enjoyed working with Captain Yeats. He was truly caring and an all around good guy. I am a better practitioner for learning from him early in my career!
I hope Haven is filled with morning coffee, quiet newspapers and fresh powder for you!
Rest easy Brother!
Our heartfelt condolences to the Yates family. Robbie was not only a colleague but a genuine friend who over the course of 25 years approached life with laughter, adventure and empathy, he will be dearly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Rob taught my when I became a diver and I worked cross shift from Rob. I was Delta and Rob was Charlie. Good memories working with and across Rob.
RIP brother.
Sincerest condolences to you Glenda... and all your family. We have so many fond memories of Rob. His smile and well paced wit would brighten anyone's day. Holding you all in our thoughts with much love, from Ros, Glenn and family.
Our sincerest condolences to Glenda and the rest of the Yeats Clan so loved by Rob. We will miss Rob's wit, generosity and story telling. Our "Wagons Ho" RV group will have a void in their hearts and reminisce about him around the campfire. We will remember that " those memories are magic and proof that those we loved existed. We can make them appear whenever we need them. That is the strongest magic of love and caring."
Rob, you’ve gone far too soon. I shall miss the smile and that distinctive laugh of yours. I was looking forward to skiing with you again next winter but it will have to wait a little while. Thanks for all those days of fun we had on the Snowhost Programme at Sunshine. You will be missed a lot.
Glenda I’m so sorry for your families terrible loss and Ingrid and I wish you all the best during this very difficult time.
Love,
Rob & Ingrid Pearce.
Rob was such a wonderful ski instructor at COP. This season - just a few short weeks ago - he was out volunteering at COP. Always smiling and helping someone. He will be missed. Condolences to his family. RIP Rob
Great memories of a kind and thoughtful gentleman who shared his love of outdoor adventures and introduced us to the beauty of the Sunshine slopes. His dedication to the community of Calgary during his career as a firefigther was inspirational.

Oh I am so sorry to hear this news. Rob and I worked as snow hosts together for a number of years at Sunshine Village. We shared a ton of laughs and turns. Much love to Glenda and family, Lynne Hately
Rob, you will be very much missed. Such good memories - Dawn, just 50 steps, rest, 50 steps to the top of Rainbow Mtn.....; singing Christmas carols with our families to the shut-ins; your humor...... So full of fun and laughter!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Glenda, Kim, Ryan and their families. Thinking of you all.
Our condolences,

Sincere condolences to Glenda and family. Rob's inspiring "can do" attitude was always noteworthy in my time spent in his presence.
Warm regards,

Words cannot express our sadness in Rob’s passing. We hold such fond memories of him, such a fun guy to ski with and just be with. He always had such a zest for life and I remember his laugh and exuberant nature so fondly. Our heart goes out to you Glenda and to Ryan and Kim and their families. We know Rob was a great husband, father and grandfather. Whenever he spoke of his grandchildren his face would light up and you could tell how incredibly proud and in love he was. He was my favorite ski instructor, he was so patient and encouraging. I can still see the musical way he would float down the hill, arms to either side dancing down the hill. He would share his and Glenda’s stories of travel and adventure with such enthusiasm. We will sorely miss you Rob, you made a difference in the world and in our lives.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Robbie was such a great guy, and will be missed by everyone.
