Obituary of Dana Frances Bushfield

April 20, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

Dana Frances Bushfield, beloved spouse of Herbert Hoffmann of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the age of 52 years.

Dana was born in Edmonton, Alberta on June 10, 1969. She moved to Calgary as a small child and remained a proud Calgarian. Dana was a courageous, loving soul, and the most loyal person one could meet. She made Christmas sparkle, and never missed the chance to send birthday balloons, flowers, and chocolate fruit bouquets to friends and family. She had the best giggle. She and Herb enjoyed many tropical vacations, and she never missed bringing something unique back to share with those she loved. 

Dana was a loving spouse, aunty, cousin, niece, friend and sister. We will miss her more than words can say. She was predeceased by her loving mother, Adelaide Bushfield (Smale), and father, Frances Hugh Bushfield.

A Celebration of Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
