Darlene Marjorie life’s journey ended on Friday, April 22, 2022, at the age of 80 years.

She leaves behind, but never forgotten, her children, Twyla Schedlosky (Dave), and Corie Zeise (George); her precious and very dear grandchildren, Danielle BigCharles (Kat), and Leslie Tanner Zeise (Samantha); great-granddaughter, Lily Rose; stepchildren, Anthony Otis, and Brigitte Otis; along with her very special group of close friends! She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, and her parents, Doreen and Clarence Cyr.

Darlene was born in Gravelbourg, SK, on May 29, 1941, to parents, Doreen and Clarence Cyr. She was confronted with many adverse events in her life, but seldom complained and met them all with formable fortitude. Her great love was to spend time with her family and to find time to donate her efforts to Pastoral Care.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church (5504 – 20th Street S.W., Calgary, AB) on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the church. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
