Obituary of Blain Longmore

September 3, 1938 – Moosejaw, Saskatchewan

April 30, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

Blain Longmore, beloved husband of Lilian Longmore, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the age of 83 years.

Blain was born in Moose Jaw, SK on September 3, 1938, and moved to Calgary in 1969.  He was a Chef Instructor in the Commercial Cooking program at Shaughnessy Vocational School until taking early retirement in 1996. 

Blain will be greatly missed by his wife Lilian, daughter Lisa Bergen, granddaughter Vanessa Bergen and family in Canada and the U.K.  Blain was predeceased by his parents, Thomas, and Kathleen Longmore and by his brother Paul Longmore.

At Blain’s request no funeral service will be held. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared with Blain’s family here.
