Condolences
It’s with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to Linda. We first met while working at Burnet, Duckworth law firm many years ago and kept up our connection over the years. We also travelled to Mexico together for a well earned vacation many years ago. We shared many laughs and stories over the years and shared our passion for our cats. I hadn’t seen Linda over the past year and would like to thank her sister Pat for getting in touch with me when she received my yearly Christmas card to Linda - I’m sure that was a bit of a shock for her. Condolences to all of Linda’s family and friends - a special lady gone too soon.
I had known Linda since meeting her during a Calgary visit to her sister Pat. We later connected when I moved to Toronto, her home at the time, then again when she moved to Calgary, my home at the time. Although I ended up a permanent resident of Ontario and Linda in Calgary, we never lost touch. So sad at her sudden departure. So glad for the memories.

Linda and I worked together many years ago at Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer. After losing touch for a few years we reconnected and after we both retired we would get together every couple of weeks for coffee and catching up.
I am saddened to read about Linda's death. We worked together at Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer and she was always so pleasant. I did not know her very well but reading about her death is shocking to say the least.
My heart goes out to Linda's family during this difficult time.

Linda and were born in Toronto and first lived in an area called Hogs Hollow (now a Golf Course). Our last home was in Scarboro and Linda finished her education there. She started working for Law firm in her early twenties and became an accomplished and respected Legal Secretary for 40 years. Linda was self-contained and low key, however, she was interested in how you were doing and offered her opinions - pro or con and liked to have a good laugh, Going out with Linda (dinners, etc) were only for a few hours - she had to go home to tend to her beloved cats, she rarely left them. These cats were her family and we were told to call by their names (not by kitty!!), on many occasions Linda nursed them back to health
After retiring (about 10 yrs ago), Linda kept busy with her crocheting, reading novels, crossword puzzles, crafts and visiting friends and family.
