Obituary of Ken Cox

December 29, 1947 – Regina, Saskatchewan

May 3, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

It is with heavy hearts, that the family of Kenneth Cox announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the age of 74.

Ken was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, on December 29, 1947. He was a lover of skiing, biking, and golfing. All activities he shared with his son, Mathew.

Ken will be lovingly remembered by his son, Mathew Cox, his daughter-in-law, Stephanie, and his two granddaughters, London and Adley. Ken is also survived by his brother, Roderick Cox, and brother-in-law, Art Jorstad; his niece, Heather Kolankowski (Mike), and their children; as well as cousins, extended family, and friends.

Ken was predeceased by his daughter, Chloe Cox, his father and mother Edward and Katherine Cox, and his sister, Joan Jorstad.

Ken’s life was like the art he loved, and the masterpieces that adorned the walls of his house; colorful, full of texture and life. It wasn’t a gathering without Ken sharing a story full of life and excitement, followed by his one-of-a-kind laugh.

He was always the first to extend a hand for a shake, open arms for a hug, or sneak a chocolate to his excited granddaughters. He will be greatly missed by all those he touched.
