Obituary of Michael Mino Goldenbeck Larsen

February 12, 1978 – Japan

May 6, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

Michael left his life here with all of us for places unknown after an exhausting four-year war against cancer.

Born in Japan, Michael moved to what would be his lifelong home in Calgary, Alberta when he was just a toddler. It was here that he met his "special lady friend" and began his dream job - being Charlie's dad.

Michael lives on through Charlie, his partner Carey, Alyssa (Cooper and Oliver), Pamela (Connor and Graham), his parents Yasue and Erik Larsen, his in laws Jean and Trevor Meier along with his paternal family in Denmark, maternal family in Japan, his friends, and his loved ones in Canada and the United States.

To honour his life here we will be hosting a casual tribute at his home on July 9, 2022, at 2:00pm. Please reach out to family for address. Condolences, memories, and photos may also be shared and viewed here.
