Condolences
I was greatly saddened to hear of Sr. Yvonne's passing. She was a dedicated volunteer at the Cross Cancer Institute for many years as a faithful friendly visitor to all the inpatients and offered communion to all who wished to receive. She brightened everyone's day with her warm, caring, friendly personality and her lovely smile, laughter and twinkling eyes. She definately made patients and staffs days brighter at the Institute by her angelic presence. I am sure she will continue her caring work in her new home. God Bless her!

Sr. Yvonne was a mentor, teacher, piano teacher and friend to me. She had a beautiful smile and inspired my love of music. She was loved by many and will be missed.

I was a member of sister Yvonne's choir at St. Mary's CS. Sister Yvonne taught me that I had a voice and to share it with others through song. I will forever cherish her smile, sense of humor, love of music, words of encouragement and advice. Forever in our hearts. My condolences to the family.

Sister Yvonne had a wonderful presence about her.
She was a woman of faith and a woman of love.
She lived her life with great passion, compassion, and grace.
An inspiration for all of us!
She will be sorely missed by the FCJ community, the St. Mary's community in Toronto, her family and friends.
She was a great model for all of us to emulate.
Sister Yvonne, you will forever be missed, but your spirit remains and will live on.
You have touched all the hearts of those you have come into contact with.
Never to be forgotten.
Lots of love, Josie Pannozzo
I send my condolences to Sr Yvonne's family whom she loved dearly and to her FCJ community who were her life and to all those who's lives she touched. She will be missed. I worked with Sr Yvonne at the U of A Hospital for over 20 years when we volunteered together and later when I became a chaplain there. She was well known and loved throughout the hospital as she worked in many areas, from the Spiritual Care Dept to the hospital library. Wherever she served her love for the patients and compassion for those who needed support was evident . She was passionate, dedicated and loyal to her calling. But Yvonne's humor and vibrancy was how we knew her. She brought a brightness to wherever she went and I can still see the twinkle in her eye as she would recount a funny story or see the humorous side of life. Though she is gone from this life I know her vibrancy will continue in the next. I am better for having know her!
I worked with Sister McKinnon at the end of her exceptional career in music education at St. Mary’s C. S. S. in Toronto from 1994-96. We were both responsible for music at the school, she was a great example of dedication to students. I remember her bringing music to the lives of many students who sometimes doubted the latent talent she saw in them. She also inspired many of us on staff with her dedication to St. Mary’s and especially those who were sometimes struggling or needed a kind word. I am thankful for my short time with her and am sure that she is now in the heavenly choir. May our Lord greet Sister in the new and eternal Jerusalem, may she rest in peace.

I was greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Sr Yvonne. I always enjoyed it when we managed to get together especially with her at her nephew's birthday in Montreal in 2006.. She could be both serious and humorous. She lived a life of devotion and service. I will miss her greatly, but know that God has welcomed now her home. John A.
May she rest in eternal peace. Sister Yvonne had such a great sense of humour. She was such a kind soul. Forever a part of St Mary's and for the students who keep a part of her in them.

When I think of Sister Yvonne I think of her smile, her love of teaching and her love of music.
I remember one time in class she asked me to go into the instrument room and asked me to.shut the door. She then told me to.start singing whole she played. Her words and I quote "Antonetta, I can't hear you" I was not confident in my singing however she encouraged me. That was the person she was.
Her passion for music, her dedication to her students, made her such a wonderful.teacher and person. You will be forever remembered.
My condolences to the family. I was Try My blessed that I had a chance to experience the wonderful person that Sister Yvonne was.
Rest In Peace.
God bless everyone

Sister Yvonne was my teacher at St. Mary's, she was an amazing human been, and loved by all of us. A big hug.
To our dear FCJ Sisters and Companions in Mission and to the family of Yvonne we send our loving sympathy and prayer at the death of a wonderful FCJ companion. Those whose lives crossed her path in Canada or England or on pilgrimage remember her with great affection. I only met Yvonne in in her later years and loved her great sense of humour, the ease with which she related, her groundedness and of course her music making. May she rest in peace and may you all be comforted in the joy of her new life with God!
