Condolences
All the very best to the the Pflueger family during this sad time from Janet Hamnett, Lara Unsworth and Bruce Palenske. So many wonderful memories going back to Australia and then in Bragg Creek as our families connected and re-connected. John was a lovely person - always kind to all of us. John and Lyn were special friends of my mum and dad - Arnold and Jean Palenske - I am hopeful that they may be able to spend some time together again wherever they are. Much love....
Thinking of you and sending prayers for John and all of you at this time
So many good memories and those are what keep us going right?!
Love from Jacquie and Robin Bishop ❤️
Our thoughts are with you all. He was interesting and always interested in the stories of others: even us kids. He built the most pastoral property in Bragg Creek. I fondly recall sorting bottles for scouts there. Your parents were such a big part of that community. ❤️❤️❤️
I have so many memories of my very tall, big smiling, always happy Uncle John but one memory I will always treasure is the day he taught me how to gut a trout. On one of my trips to visit my Canadian family Uncle J and I went trout fishing and then in the kitchen he produced this weird looking thing that held the fish in place while he proceeded to teach me how to scale and gut. Being a fish lover I really liked learning from him, but more than that, I loved spending the time with him. It’s heartbreaking to know that this was the last time we spent together. Forever in my heart ❤️
