Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Carter

Margaret Carter (nee Colbow), of Strathmore, Alberta, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022, at the age of 97 years.

Margaret worked on various ranches in Southern Alberta as a cook. She had a passion for singing, dancing, and preparing wonderful meals.

Margaret is survived by her three children, Boyd and Lil Carter, of Sherwood Park; Sandra Brinson of Cochrane, and Collette Jarvis of Chestermere; eleven grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband Cecil Arthur Carter, her two sisters, three brothers, son-in-law Laurel Jarvis, as well as her parents.
