David Petriw of Calgary, AB passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the age of 59 years. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared with Dave’s family here.

Dave Petriw was born in Melville, Saskatchewan on August 17, 1962. He moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1980.

Dave’s greatest pride and joy in his life was his two daughters and grandchildren. He is survived by his eldest daughter Laura Erlandson, her husband Brad Erlandson and their children Beau and Laylin of Calgary, AB as well as his youngest daughter Bailey Petriw and husband Liam Kerr of Calgary, AB. Dave is also survived by two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Joyce and Pat Konkin and Brenda and Dennis Baumgartner; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. David was predeceased by his parents, George and Mary Petriw.

A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at Bankview Community Hall (2418 – 17th Street SW, Calgary, AB), on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.

He would have been 60 on August 17 and was adamant he wanted a birthday celebration this year so we will give it to him!
