Obituary of Elden Henry Kelln
October 4, 1946 – Strasbourg, Saskatchewan

We are sad to announce that Elden Henry Kelln passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Elden was born on October 4, 1946, in Strasbourg, Saskatchewan to parents Hilda and Henry, and was raised with his sister Carol. He is survived by his wife, Dianne; his children, Garnet (Deana) and Tyson (Jamie); grandchildren Matthew, Mitchell, and Jordan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
After marrying Dianne in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1968, Elden took a job with IBM where he was employed for more than 25 years. He started in Saskatoon where both boys were born, was transferred to Regina, and then moved to Calgary in 1978 where the boys grew up. Upon his retirement, Dianne and Elden moved to Acme, Alberta, to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country.
In his retirement, Elden enjoyed quiet times reading, watching Saskatchewan Roughriders football games, and spending time with family, particularly his grandchildren.
A Memorial Service was held at McInnis & Holloway (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive) on Monday, May 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed here.
