Obituary of Betty Lou Anderson

1938 – 2022

Betty Anderson, beloved wife of the late Donald Anderson, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the age of 83 years.

Betty was born October 18, 1938, in Mountain View, AB. Betty and Don married on May 10, 1958, in Bellevue, AB. Betty worked for AGT / Telus until her retirement in 1995. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family. She also liked to crochet, cross stitch, sew, complete jig saw puzzles, and was an avid reader. Betty and Don had enjoyed many years at their summer home in Radium, BC, and loved having their grandchildren visit each summer.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Donald Anderson, son Darcy Anderson; parents, Frank and Mary Hill; sisters, Verlene Wakaluk, and Marie Wenisch, as well as her infant sister Theda. Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Darrell Anderson and Joanne Danyschuk; daughter and son-in-law, Diane Toth and Alan Toth; three grandchildren, Dylan Anderson (Lindsay Anderson), Jordan Burgoin (Stephen Burgoin), and Dawson Toth (Michaela Such); one great-grandchild Gabriel Anderson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Colleen and Ludwig Schwarz, sister Lorretta Amos, brother David Hill, and her sister and brother-in-law Susie and Gerald Mottle.
