Condolences
I am so sorry to hear of Ted’s passing. I worked with him many years ago at Amoco and ran into him at church some years ago meaning to get together and catchup. Ted was unlike anyone I’ve known and even if you didn’t know him long, he made an impression not to be forgotten. Authentic, always a smile, kind, giving, compassionate, really beyond words. He was always such a positive influence wherever he went. A beautiful soul, taken too soon. My deepest condolences and especially through this first Christmas season. I imagine his beautiful voice singing Christmas carols…now with the angels.

I am saddened to hear of Ted's passing. I've been corresponding with him for 15-20 years about our shared genealogy interests and family connections. I've learned a lot from him and always enjoyed his messages. I had never met Ted in person, but had hoped our paths would cross eventually. My sincerest condolences go out to his mother Lillian, his family and friends. Ted will be missed.
I am shocked and saddened to learn of Ted's passing. We have corresponded off and on since 2005 about our shared ancestry and love of Norway. Ted did extensive genealogical work and was always happy to share what he had learned. More recently he helped me with planning a trip to Canada and I was looking forward to finally meeting him this coming Monday when I'm in Calgary but God had other plans for him. I became concerned when he didn't answer my recent emails and found this through a google search. I am so sorry for your loss Lillian. I have never met you either but Ted often mentioned you in his emails and I know he was a devoted and loving son. He will be missed by many.
What a loss for us but heaven's gain. He was a gem of a person that I thoroughly enjoyed working with. I especially remember the days he brought in fresh-baked pie to the office. A man of many talents and had a kind soul. Our condolences to the family. We will miss him but he will never be forgotten.
I am so sad to hear of Ted's passing. He was such a bright light in our lives. I remember family gathering in Strum, Lillian, hosted by you and Ted. Hearing him sing was always a special treat. And coming to your home always brought a wonderful meal, usally with steak cooked to perfection by Ted. Now that his heart has stopped beating he will live on in our hearts. Lillian, I sent special love and blessings to you...Allegra Silberstein
I am so saddened to hear of Ted's passing. I worked with him at times at Amoco, he was always cheerful, brought the best treats and was such a nice guy.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Millie Tsuji (nee Drinkwater). He would know me with the Drinkwater name.
Dear Lillian and Ted's extended family - I was so shocked and sad to hear about Ted's recent passing. I sang with Ted many times in Calgary Opera productions over the last 25 years. When we realized that we lived so close to each other we car pooled frequently for the downtown rehearsals. I remember Ted as always having a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He loved to share his latest culinary delight, interesting antique furniture find, memories of his European street camping adventure, or family fun had during his regular visits to Wisconsin.
We will certainly miss Ted's sunny disposition, fine tenor voice, and his many stories.
Please accept Anne and my deepest condolences and know that he is in our thoughts and prayers. We are disappointed that we will not be able to attend his funeral this weekend but we hope this celebration of his wonderful life goes extremely well.
I had the pleasure of working with Ted. His aptitude for detail and passion for singing was unmatched. He was a true gentleman. My deepest condolences to his family
Ted was such a joyful presence. Everyone at Hope Lutheran will miss his voice, his hugs and his laugh. Sending love to Lillian and family.

Gone way too soon! There was so much more pinochle to be played and laughter to be had. I will miss his joyous company. My deepest condolences Lillian; I hope we can share a meal and game of pinochle soon.
I always enjoyed my visit with you and Ted. My deepest sympathy. Florence Currie (Marion sister from New Brunswick).
Gone too young! He had such a fine singing voice. You could hear in it the joy that singing brought him. I remember his appreciation for his heritage too, stories of touring Norway in a VW van which served as his wheels and his home. Condolences to Lillian.
