Obituary of Beverly Jean Michaud

On Friday, May 27, 2022, in Calgary, AB, our dear Mom and Nanny, Beverly Jean Michaud (nee Hewlett), went to Heaven to dance up a storm with her loved ones. May 30th would have been her 89th birthday, so it is fitting she got to celebrate it with our dad George Wilbert Michaud, her parents James Blackburn Hewlett and Nola Jesse Cotter, as well as her beloved brother Donnie Hewlett and sister Diane Lucas.

Mom was a very important part in the lives of her two children and their spouses, Linda Diane and David Noruschat, as well as George James and Lizzete Michaud. Mom was thrilled when she became a Nanny to her darling grandchild, Damaris Marie Michaud. Mom’s sister Bonnie Belle Mende resides in Calgary, and her brother Jimmy Hewlett in High River.

Mom was cherished by all those she touched with her spark, vitality, and fun-loving personality. She will be missed but never forgotten. You were a gem of a lady Mom, and so loved by the people who got to know you.

A Celebration of Beverly’s Life will be held in Calgary on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the residence of her daughter, Linda Diane. Another Celebration of Life will be held in Ottawa later this summer. Mom’s ashes will be interned beside Dad in the Finch Cemetery. Her cousin, Reverend Stewart Hewlett, will officiate at her gravesite. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
