Obituary of Alison Irene Nielsen

June 11, 1965 – Kitchener, Ontario

May 21, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

Irene Nielsen, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the age of 56 years.

Born in Kitchener, ON, she was known as Irene to her family and network of loving friends.  Irene loved people, animals, and all of nature – her happiest times were spent in Creation’s great outdoors.  She was predeceased by her parents Hugo and Hilda Nielsen; two half-sisters, Marilyn and Yvonne; and her cousin Karen Pinheiro. She is survived and missed by her son Bobby and four grandchildren; nieces Christine, Gerianne, Susan, and Sheri; nephews Ron and Dan; and cousins Joan, Geri, and Susan; and one very special brother-in-law. She is also deeply missed by her dear friends.
