Obituary of Glen Douglas Newberry
May 14, 1936 - Winnipeg, Manitoba

With peace in our hearts, we announce the passing of Glen. In Glen's words, "I had a great life with so many fond memories that were created by family, friends and travel."
Glen had a fantastic career, taking on many different paths. Starting in the oil industry, to textiles, to mattress maker, and finally finishing his career as his own boss in sales. He loved the travel and the many customers' he met over the years.
Golfing was a passion for Glen. He went on many memorable golf vacations with Brenda and many great friends. He also loved to keep busy volunteering. He did for years with FLC golf and curling. Other hours he dedicated to Sierra's of Evergreen and churches throughout his life.
Glen leaves behind his loving wife Brenda of 62 years. He was a loving Dad to five children, Rob (Leslie), Bruce (Angela), Karen (Sue), all of Calgary, Cheryl (Sam) of Edmonton, and Heather (Julie) of New Castle, ON. He was Grandfather to nine grandchildren and Great-Grandfather to six great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Glen’s Life will take place at Sierra's of Evergreen (15 Everstone Drive S.E. - Building A) on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
