Obituary of Craig John Wercholuk

August 10, 1965 - May 25, 2022

Craig John Wercholuk of Claresholm, AB, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the age of 56 years.
 
Craig was born in Edmonton, AB and grew up in Canada, Scotland and England. He then moved back to Canada to live and work. Where he eventually made his home in Claresholm.

Craig enjoyed sports, a keen ice hockey player at a very young age (although he retired by age 9!). Growing up, he also played sports such as tennis, cricket, basketball, and he enjoyed cycling. As he grew older, he kept his passion for football (soccer). He had a natural gift for art, including drawing, painting, and graphics. In his later years, reading was a favourite pastime, and he had a great love of music.

Craig was proud to serve in the Canadian Army for several years and was based in Winnipeg. 

He was a good, reliable employee who enjoyed working and being part of the community in Claresholm.

Craig is survived by his mother Pamela Wercholuk and brother Kelly Wercholuk. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
