Obituary of Shirley Derbyshire

Shirley Derbyshire beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the age of 92 years.

Shirley is survived by two daughters, Dianna Lynn Neil of Calgary, AB; Nancy Jane (Allan) McCalder of Sherwood Park AB; four grandchildren, Karin Lisa (Jason) Campbell of St. Albert, AB; Matthew John (Stasia) Neil of Cochrane, AB; Ian Campbell (Megann Christensen) McCalder of Copenhagen, Denmark; Sean Robert Douglas (Nicole) McCalder of Sherwood Park, AB; and five great-grandchildren, Aiden John and Wyatt James Neil; Sophie Gray and Hattie Finn Campbell; and Nora Ruby McCalder.  

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years Robert M. Derbyshire UEL of the Toronto Police in 1995; sister Pearl Dunn of Toronto; son-in-law Brian Neil of Calgary; and her parents Ross and Dorothy Agar of Woodbridge, Ontario.

A Memorial Service will be held at Advent Lutheran Church (11 Scenic Acres Gate N.W., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
