Obituary of George Pleman Frederick Jefferies
JEFFRIES, George Pleman Frederick
May 24, 1964 – June 5, 2022
It is with great sadness that we say farewell to George Jr., who we lost suddenly at the age of 58 to a heart attack.
We welcome family and friends, both home and abroad, especially in Kitchener, ON, and Calgary, AB, to celebrate his life and say au revoir (until we meet again) in person at the Salvation Army Church (75 Tillsly Dr., Kitchener, ON) on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. EST. or virtually with Zoom/Faceooklive/livestream (Zoom meeting ID: 86563545517 & password: 649029). If not able to attend, call and listen in at 855-703-8985. Because George loved and enjoyed breaking bread with family and friends so much, in his honor we will be serving refreshments after the service.
We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Salvation Army, 1731 29th Street SW Calgary, AB, T3C 1M6, online at http://www.sakw.ca, or by phone at 519-745-335, ext: 106.
George is survived and remembered with love by his mother Rachel Jefferies, siblings, Todd Jefferies, Susanne Jefferies, Giselle (Andrew) Bowman, and Leanne Jefferies; nieces and nephews, Jamie Jefferies (Megan Fraser), Troy Jefferies, Shane Pritchard (Alice Stewart), Jennifer (Brady) Erb, Jordan Jefferies, Desiree Billings, Melissa Pritchard, Eric (Kirsten) Bowman, Destiny Billings; and also, many great-nieces and great-nephews. George is also survived and remembered with love by aunts, uncles, cousins, and very close friends. George was predeceased by his father George Sr. Ryburn Jefferies.
His presence in our lives has been that of a son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, lover, and to some, father. This sudden and devastating loss to both family and friends has left us reeling and we all mourn his passing greatly. We are taking one minute at a time, which will turn into One Day at A Time. Our world is poorer without you, but we are richer for having you in our lives. Ride with the wind our special Angel, and as George would always say, GO STEELERS GO!
