Condolences
Carla and Ken, you can be so proud of your dad and all that he represented. Once we became clients of Amalgamated Insurance we were priviledged to develop a cherished family friendship with the Amthors. We always enjoyed our many breakfasts with Ken and his engaging conversations. We shared his love of horses, fast cars, and remember the pride he took in growing his orchids. We miss him dearly.
Ken, Joan and Carla were always welcome in our 2 Bragg Creek businesses. (Bragg Creek Animal Hospital and Full Moon Gallery) They cared for their animals and were discerning art collectors. It was always a great visit. Our deepest sympathies to the family for this loss. Pamela and Bruce Rodger
Condolences to all in Ken's family. To put Ken into "horse talk", Ken had "class", "quiet class", and Ken and Joan's stable typified the priceless, bygone days of the family stable. Ken had many stake winners but I recall one of the first regular winners he had to pay the bills - a big, blaze-faced gelding claimer named Bonus Ghost. RIP, Ken, and Gordon, I know you will continue to proudly carry the family name with class and honour.
I admired Ken for his positive thoughts and attitude, my condolences Gord and Carla. Graham Niblett.
My sincere condolences to Carla Her brother and family. Ken was very dear man a gentle soul and kindness beyond imagination such a privilege to have known him and listen to his equestrian stories and his travels. He will be sorely missed.
