Obituary of Tim Smith

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tim Smith, 77 of Calgary, Alberta, on July 1, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife Lesley; children, Vicki (Steve), Timothy Darrin and Ryan (Sharon); stepchildren, Curtis (Melissa), Bryan (Ashlynn) and Danielle; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Madison, Sadie, Sawyer, Arya and Beckett. He leaves behind extended family and countless friends from around the world that will miss him greatly.

He was an amazing husband, father and friend to many. He had a passion for travel, an unending love of learning, and he built meaningful connections with people he met everywhere he went.

The family would like to thank and acknowledge Dr. Douglas Stewart and his team from the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for the care and compassion they gave Tim treating his lymphoma over the years.
