Condolences
Steven, Laurie and Kerry:
Your dad was the patriarch of the entire extended Moore Family for a very long time, and he will be missed by all of us! For me, he was a source of inspiration and wisdom, but also of wit. He offered his stories and his guidance with a humor that made it easy to listen to him, and made it so I wanted to reach out whenever I needed my own sense of grounding from an elder or a mentor. Especially during the last seven years, in which I did not have my own father to lean on, I especially appreciated your dad. I know the last two years was hard on him, with lots of medical issues, one after the other, and I trust that he is now at peace, and having a merry time with Aunt Joan, along with all his brothers, sisters, and in-laws. I imagine they've found a great big in-ground swimming pool on the other side of the veil, where the weather is warm every day, the drinks are cold and refreshing; and they sit together chatting about the past, and watching over all of us as we move into the future. May your memories comfort you during this time of sadness, and may you know how very much your dad was loved and cherished by so many. xoxo Cheryl
My deepest condolences to all of Jim's family. I cleaned Jim and Joan's condo for a few years. We had many great conversations. Usually about politics !! He was an amazing man who l still called Mr. Moore. Could not call him Jim and he thought it was quite funny.
Sending my deepest condolences to the Moore family
Laurie, Stephen, Kerry and families. Jim or “Mr Moore” as I referred to him even as an adult - taught me to always strive to better myself, and that I was capable of anything I put my mind to. As an educator, father and friend Mr Moore always inspired. Will remember him fondly. Karen McCallum.
