Obituary of Sandra Ann Tremblay

July 17, 1956 – Ottawa, Ontario

July 11, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

Sandra Tremblay (nee Moxley) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022, at the age of 65 years.

Sandra was born in Ottawa, ON, on July 17, 1956, and moved to Calgary, AB with her family in 1991.  In 2000 she married the love of her life, Denis Tremblay. 

Sandra is survived by her son Jason, her stepdaughter Julie Pigeau (husband Dave and children Jamie and Kelsi), stepson Eric, brother Glen (Connie) of Ottawa, ON, and her sister Karen (niece Lauren and nephew Ryan); as well as numerous friends.  She also leaves behind her kidlets Beau and Lilith.

Sandra was predeceased by her loving husband Denis Tremblay in 2009, as well as her father H. Arthur in 1985 and her mother Vella in 2015.

Twice Sandra made the trip to Ireland, which both became her most memorable vacations.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at Lighthouse Pub (1140 - 137 Ave SE, Calgary, AB). Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Sandra's service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
