Obituary of Karen Lee Lehmann
November 9, 1954 – Bentley, Alberta
July 13, 2022 – Foothills, Alberta
Karen Lehmann, beloved wife of Bert Lehmann of Foothills, AB, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, after a long battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the age of 67 years.
Born in Bentley, AB, Karen graduated from Lacombe High School. Most of her working career, Karen was a Sales Representative in Commercial Flooring. She later became Bert’s executive assistant. Karen was an avid golfer and enjoyed winters in Arizona. She loved swimming, gardening and being around people.
Besides her loving husband Bert, Karen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Jill Woodford of Armstrong, BC, and daughters, Sarah Woodford of Airdrie and Susie and Brent Helland and their children, Taylor and Carson; six grandchildren, Jayden, Gavin, Aveah, and Maddox Woodford, Cali, and Jack Titus; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Phyllis Bruns of Lacombe, Gary and Marce Bruns of Rimbey. She is also survived by Bert’s family, Brett and Leanne Lehmann, Colin and Robin Lehmann and four grandchildren.
A Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held at the Lehmann residence, 32023- 246 Ave E, Foothills, AB, on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
