July 15, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

Amber Kathleen Patch (nee Orr) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at the age of 31 years.

Amber was born in Calgary, AB, on August 30, 1990, and graduated from Bow Valley College in December 2020 with a diploma as a Legal Assistant.  She was continuing her education taking a Psychology program online, with the intent to go to law school and become a lawyer one day.

Amber and Greg were engaged in July 2020.

Amber accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of her daughters Loganne and Anna.

Amber had a huge love for animals, especially rescue dogs, and gave them a loving home. Her favourite saying was “Never let anyone love you less than you love yourself”.

She will be most remembered for her ability to care for others.  She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She was always there with her quick wit, humor, and big heart. Amber enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and playing games to wind down.  She enjoyed reading historical war-era books and occasionally got wild idea’s about trying to save the world.

Besides her loving fiancé, Greg, Amber is survived by her daughters, Loganne and Anna, her mother Kathy and her brothers, Josh and Brandon.
