Obituary of Mark Stephen Stretton

Mark Stretton of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, at the age of 61 years.

Mark was born in Etobicoke, ON, on September 9, 1960, but lived in many places throughout Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom growing up. The family moved to Clarkson, ON, shortly after Mark was born, then in 1969 to Hopewell Junction, NY. In 1971, they returned to Canada, settling in Mississauga, ON, and in 1975, they moved to Dunstable, UK. Mark then returned to Mississauga in the early 1990’s, then to Calgary in the early 2000’s.

Mark graduated from Queensbury Upper School in Dunstable, UK, and joined the Fire Service, where he served for ten years. In his leisure time, he had a passion for Golf.

Mark is survived by his brother Neil, nephew Joseph, staff at the Grey Eagle,     and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Sheila.
