Condolences
Kevin and I are so deeply saddened beyond words to hear about Kenny’s passing, and his tough, debilitating battle with cancer. Words cannot express our feelings of shock & sorrow, and our hearts & prayers are with his family during their grief & loss. I have never read such a beautiful, moving and memorable tribute to Kenny & his full life. Kevin worked with Kenny at Boardwalk for many years & the three of us became very close friends & mates, and had so much fun & endless laughs outside work hours, with most Friday nights at Morgan’s Pub, and him visiting us at our home regularly. Ken was such an animal lover & was best buddies with our tabby cat, Sammy, who always curled up inside his coat or shoes as soon as he came in, and then when we brought home our sweet little puppy, Angel, who was everyone’s beloved Queen mascot of Boardwalk. Kenny had a genuine happiness & complete zest for life & living that emanated from him which few people possess, he always had a smile on his face and was willing to help anyone, anytime. He was a huge family man and always talked lovingly & proudly about his immediate & extended families.
We still cannot believe he’s gone to soon, with only one more year left until he retired & then he could fish & camp to his hearts content.
Love you Kenny, your bright smile is imprinted in our memories, we say a prayer for you in heaven every evening, Rest In Peace our dear friend.

I worked alongside Ken at the O’Neil Tower. He became an uncle figure to me and he loved to play with my puppies Sadie and Tiger. I wish we were able to visit you one last time. We will all really really miss you. Sadie will be waiting for her spaghetti and meatballs dinner that you promised her in heaven. Love you forever Ken!
My condolences go out to Ken’s family and friends. He was an amazing human.
Love,
AJ

I am so very sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I had the privilege of working with Ken at Boardwalk for years while he worked as our building operator at Elbow Tower in Calgary. Ken was a great employee, and even better person. I will always remember Ken and will miss him. Rest in peace, my friend.
