Obituary of Betty Marie McKinstry

Betty Marie McKinstry of Calgary, AB passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the age of 86 years.
Betty was born in Calgary. She graduated from high school and continued her education to receive some post secondary education. She was particularly proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. One of Betty’s favourite hobbies was gardening. Betty and Bob wintered in Yuma AZ for many years.
Betty is survived by her three sons, Larry (Shelly) McKinstry, Donald (Decka) McKinstry, and Bruce McKinstry, all of Calgary, AB; her daughter Carol Rogowski (Regan Orsulak) of Calgary, AB; her nine grandchildren, Lee (Jen) McKinstry of Spruce View, AB, Jim (Kristina) McKinstry, Darrin Rogowski, Darcy (Miranda) Rogowski, Stacey (Erin) Venner, Jasper McKinstry, Nicole McKinstry, Adam McKinstry, and Halle McKinstry; and her eight great-grandchildren, Wesley and Hayley of Spruce View, AB, Wyatt, Ty, Lane, Sierra, Weston, and Hank of Calgary, AB. Betty is also survived by her sister Barbara (James) Cameron, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Betty was predeceased by her husband Bob; son-in-law Paul Rogowski; parents, Thelma and Samuel; and brother Stewart McClean
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
