Dale Louth

Obituary of Dale Cameron Louth

July 27, 1960 – Victoria, British Columbia

August 1, 2022 – Red Deer, Alberta

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dale Cameron Louth. Born July 27, 1960, in Victoria, BC, he left us on August 1, 2022.

Dale was born and raised in Victoria. He was very intelligent and athletic. He excelled in sports such as baseball and basketball. Dale enjoyed fishing for ling cod and could often be found with his buddies dropping a line off the breakwater in Victoria. He loved camping and just about anything outdoors.

Later in life, Dale lived alone and kept to himself. During this time, he enjoyed sci-fi movies and video games. Although he loved his family, he seldom saw anyone choosing the company of his cats instead.

Dale, although you struggled here on Earth, we know you left us peacefully and on your own terms. Rest easy brother. Until we meet again.

Dale leaves behind his daughter April Peet, and grandson Devon. Dale is also survived by his two sisters, Michelle Messmer (Len) and Belinda Simms (Ben); three nieces, Sarah Courenya (Darryl), Brittany Swan (William), and Tara Messmer; two nephews, Josh Simms (Dee), and Michael Messmer (Cristin Joyce); as well as three great-nieces and three great-nephews. Dale was predeceased by his father, Fred Louth, and his mother, Doreen Louth.

A celebration of Dale’s life will be announced at a later date.

In living memory of Dale Louth, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes, Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB T2Z 4E6, Telephone: 403-203-0525.
