Aunt Florence was (to me) the leader of the aunts. Not just because she was the oldest, but because Florence often took charge. I will always remember the summer in (1972?) I spent with Florence and her family. She seemed then so similar to (yet different from) my mother, Isabelle, that I thought of her as my "second mom". Perhaps I was also charmed by her homey homemaker quality.
I was so blessed to have Florence for an aunt.
Sincere condolences to Gerry and Helga, Lisa and Gerard,Marion and Jeanette and all the Levasseur and Longpre families on the loss of your mother and sister.
God bless all of you.

To the Longpre and Levasseur families. The special people in our lives are never really gone... they have a place in our hearts where they will always be remembered. We are thinking of you at this sad time. Our deepest sympathy from Camille & Bill Dekker
Our hearts go out to family and friends for your loss. Thank you Auntie for always being so nice and kind to me, the Happy Pop cupboard :), the broken candy from the drug store you worked at, your many family get togethers on 87th Ave or at your place in Calgary. Loved the slide shows you shared with all of us from your trips :) We loved you and will miss you.

Our deepest sympathy to all family and friends! Florence will always be remembered and loved by all of us! I treasure memories with her, so many dinners and weekend visiting as a child. Best carrot cake ever, best loving aunt ever, always taking time for me with a house full of relatives. Thoughtful gifts, handmade Raggedy Ann doll, things you never forget, because you remember all the love she shared. You will live forever in our hearts Florence, much love from Gerry, Helga & Lisa Levasseur
