Obituary of Anne Morgan

May 22, 1944 – Manchester, England

August 6, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother Anne Morgan (nee Thornley), of Calgary, AB. Anne passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the age of 78 years.

Anne is survived by her children Maria (Greg) and Dean; two grandchildren, Christina (Evan) and Ian (Jessica); three great-grandchildren, Maddi, Hudson, Caleb; as well as family back in England. She was predeceased by her husband Gerard Morgan and son Glenn Morgan in 2015.

Anne enjoyed her great grand children immensely; she loved watching European football and the UK programs on the English box.

As per Anne’s wishes there will be no funeral. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday August 12, 2022, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
