Condolences
We, the Jomaa family, send our condolences for your loss. Dr Shalom was our family Doctor and he was a kind and gentle man who cared for us. My father asked about him about a year ago and so googled his name and couldn’t find out where he was. For some reason, only God knows why, I thought of him today while reading the Quran during this holy month of Ramadan. May God Rest his Soul.
Sending our deepest sympathy to Mark and family. Sorry for your loss.
Maurice was a great doctor, a good friend to our family and a true gentleman. We send our condolences to Mark, Donna and Chris on Maurice's passing.
Sincerely,
Trish Weatherup and John Bray
Dr. Shalom was our family doctor from the time that Haysboro was first built. He was very caring, and when you were too ill to go to him, he came to you. He likely missed many family dinners due to all of his after office hours house calls. A wonderful person.
I have know Dr. Maurice from my young age in Saint Pierre Manitoba, being neighbours. Throughout the years, we have kept in touch. Once you were in Maurice’s heart, you were there forever. From my young age, he left such an impression on me. I remember him as always kind and most gentle, always with a smile and a most handsome charming man. Maurice had a twinkle in his eye that never left him. My deepest sympathies, Mark to you and your family on your great loss. You were truly blessed Mark, to have had such great parents. My sisters Jocelyne, Andrée and Charlotte also send their condolences.
My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Maurice. I had the privilege of knowing Maurice through my work at Amica Britannia. He was a bright light each day and always offered a friendly smile. He also shared his famous hummus recipe which is a staple in my household. His care for others was inspiring and I feel grateful to have known him. May he be at rest & at peace.
Dr. Shalom meant so much to our family and was one of the best human beings we have ever encountered. Please accept our deepest condolences for your father and grandfather. - Deepa and Jayesh Acharya (Bubble’s daughter and son-in-law)
I knew him as Uncle Maurice. Our families were always that close. Vacations together in Naramata and Shuswap, numerous fishing trips to Chain Lakes. He was always a kind and gentle man and he was my doctor from childhood to adulthood. He was doctor to all our family but he was first our friend. He was among our first friends when we came to Canada. He will be missed and thought of often. Condolences to Mark and Chris and families.
