Obituary of David William Bulechowsky

March 7, 1961 – Drumheller, Alberta

August 12, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

David Bulechowsky, beloved father, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the age of 61 years to Pancreatic Cancer.

David was born in Drumheller, AB, on March 7, 1961, and moved to Calgary in the early 70s and resided on an acreage for 26 years. During that time, David loved to collect and work on items, big and small. He had an amazing ability to see treasure in other peoples’ scrap.

David worked for the City of Calgary Roads Department for more than 35 years. He won numerous City of Calgary Truck Rodeos and made it to the Nationals. On his time off, David was often found spending time in Drumheller visiting family and friends or driving to BC to spend time at the cabin. He will be most remembered for his big heart and his willingness to always lend a hand.

David is survived by his two sons, Michael (Mary) and Ryan; his daughter Nichole (Arkadiusz), and four grandchildren, Kazius, Elias, Juliana, and Brooklyn. David is also survived by his three brothers, Rick, Corey, and Heath Bulechowsky; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of which he adored and always enjoyed spending time with. David was predeceased by his mother Ita, and father Billy Bulechowsky.

A Celebration of David’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022. A private family graveside will take place at a later date. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
