Obituary of Julie Staffa Gialleonardo
May 16, 1960 – August 18, 2022
Julie Staffa Gialleonardo passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children and family on August 18, 2022, at the young age of 62 years old.
Julie was passionate about her family, friends, Sunday barbecues, and the W Network. Julie was well respected at TD bank where she worked for the past thirty-three years. She touched the lives of many and left a lasting impression on anyone she crossed paths with. Julie was known for her welcoming nature, her genuine heart, and her witty personality.
Julie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Domenic Gialleonardo (Eric Elofsson), and Nikki Gialleonardo (Hugo Lwakila); siblings, Demetrio (Doris) Staffa, Ada (Tony) Laratta, Pina (Frank) Laratta, Elvira (Domenico) Parrotta, Carlo (Dianna) Staffa, and Lena (Renato) Angelozzi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Julie was predeceased by her brother Peter Staffa, and her parents Domenico and Elma Staffa.
Julie’s light will continue to shine through all the memories that her loved ones share with her.
Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (404 Northmount Place N.W., Calgary, AB), on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
