Obituary of Denise Lynn Zecca

Denise Zecca, of Chestermere, AB, beloved wife of the late Zachary Zecca (deceased July 14, 2022) passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the age of 52 years.

Denise was born in Calgary on November 11, 1969 in Calgary and relocated to Chestermere in 2000. Zac and Denise met in 1982 and married in 1991. Thought Zac and Denise never had children, they had 30 years of beloved fur babies.

Denise worked in the family’s business, Jim’s Crane Service, for 31 years as the office manager. Denise was family oriented and cared deeply for her family and friends. Her lifelong love of motorcycles involved 25 years of riding, and finally on her prized Harley with Zac right beside her on his. Trips down Kananaskis Trail were common weekend occurrences. Those were their “good days”, and when able, made them so happy. Denise fought a courageous battle with cancer for the past year.

Denise is survived by her mother Yvonne Campbell, brother Darren Darragh his wife Angela and their son Aaron, as well as her fur baby, Jinx.

Denise was predeceased by her husband Zac on July 14, 2022, her father James on October 13, 1982.
