So sorry for your loss. I had the great opportunity to work with Guy when I first started with CRA/CBSA back in 2002 in Calgary. He actually was involved in hiring me! I considered Guy my mentor and friend. We haven’t worked together since 2006, but I was still able to email/call him asking for advise when I needed to. I could not have asked for a better trainer in showing me (new to the IT world) the ropes and become successful in my job and how to work with our internal clients. He was always there to provide assistance to those that needed it. Guy had a great gift in saying very little to communicate what he wanted. A rare ability these days. His energy was endless.
A true gentlemen that had a such a great sense of humor. We had the best laughs working together. He got a huge kick out my Maritimer ways and accent! I am so glad we got to meet up when he was visiting Prince Edward Island a few summers ago. It was so great to catch up over a few beers and reminisce about the days we worked together.
Guy was one of the good ones and I will always valued the times I got to learn from him and to say he was my friend. Thoughts and prayers to his family. My deepest condolences.

This was a real shock to me to hear about Guy's passing. He was the one who hired me at the CRA as an IT Analyst and a great team leader. Even after he retired, he was still always around on contract work and I mentioned to him one time that I think he just kept taking these contract jobs so he would get a good-bye lunch at the end of them! I went to a few of them, I know that. Guy will be missed for sure and my condolences to the entire Lallier family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with my sister Maureen and nieces Michelle and Nikki, Guy was such an amazing man, a awesome husband, a great dad, so gentle, so giving, a great cook a green thumb, and so generous, he will sadly be missed by all of us and anyone that knew him. We know he is at home now with angels we love him and will never forget you. Love Peggi and Len
