Obituary of Marilyn Marie Butts
March 25, 1943 – September 1, 2022
Marilyn found her peace and slipped away from us early Thursday morning. We are so grateful for her guidance and support which has influenced us all in the most positive of ways. Mar will always be remembered through the simple joys in everyday life, and we feel her unconditional love and strength. She is predeceased by her daughter Karen, her brother Max, and her parents. She is survived by her devoted husband David, daughter Sarah (Brent), son Shaughn (Phoebe), son-in-law Gary, and eight amazing grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (404 Northmount Place NW, corner of 4th Street and Northmount Drive, Calgary, AB). Cremation will occur in the coming days, and she will be interred near her daughter Karen at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed at www.MHFH.com.
