I miss you every day mama. It was 3 weeks ago today when we were beside you and your last earthly breaths were taken. You looked so peaceful. We know your incredible spirit is now showing forth in heaven. We also know you are happy and carefree like a little girl again. I can hardly wait until we meet again in God’s loving care in heaven. I am wearing your cross and wedding band forever. See you later mum - I love you more than words could ever express. XO Janet
David, I am so sorry to learn of Betty's passing. She was a remarkable woman. I remember when you and Betty so kindly invited Marg and me for dinner when we first moved into the neighbourhood, some 30 years ago. You and Betty were truly a great team and enjoyed a wonderful marriage -71 years- what a blessing!
Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
Sincerely,
Rick Harrop
I am so sad to learn of Betty's passing. I have many fond memories of Betty and David from my work with the Calgary Public Library Foundation. Betty starred in a video about the Talking Book collection and I cherish the memory of sharing the video with the family at the Giuffre Family Library. I had great conversations about books and book clubs with both Betty and David. My prayers are with the whole family.
To all of the Milner family, I offer my sincerest condolences at the passing of Mrs. Milner. I pray you will be strengthened and comforted by your memories and love of your spouse, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
I am the youngest child of Norman and Maureen Elsey and I so findly recall many visits of the Milners to both our family home and cottage. My parents so enjoyed her company as did I. I recall many times as a teenager or in my early 20's sitting and visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Milner as they were always very engaging and happy to be around. Wonderful friends to my parents and so very kind to me.
A very special hello and heartfelt condolences to Mr. Milner.
Sincerely and with a happy memories in mind,
Scott Elsey

What a wonderful person Betty was.
Our hearts and prayers are with you
Dear Dave and all of the Milner family,
Alison and I were sorry to learn of Betty's recent passing. She lived a very long and remarkable life of which I'm sure you are all very proud. We too are grateful to have shared decades of acquaintance with Betty, and have many fond memories of her over that time. Betty will be remembered by me as a great neighbour and family friend. I always enjoyed her company at the various social functions and in the professional relations we had throughout our lives. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to have known an individual with her personality, intellect and strong character. A life well lived and a great legacy to reflect on. Alison's and my thoughts prayers are with and your family.
Sincere condolences ,
Rob and Alison Allison
